What is an Eco Meet?
An Eco Meet is a high school competition where the knowledge of Kansas' wildlife and plants is tested among groups of 3-4. Participants are tested in 4 areas: general wildlife, a focus test on one species, a scavenger hunt, and an interpretation activity. Kansas Wildscape is the 1st place sponsor for the State Eco Meet, providing a $1200 scholarship divided among 3 or 4 students. For more info, visit the Kansas Eco Meet website.
