Most of the 2008 O.K. Kids events are just happy memories at this point, but there are still a few chances to attend an event or two this fall. We have at least one rescheduled event that was rained out, as well as a new event that will take place soon. Check this site frequently for updates.

O.K. Kids Picture Contest
Kansas Wildscape Foundation and Capitol Federal Savings will again sponsor a Drawing Contest this year, as the contest was such a hit with the kids in 2007.
We were very pleased with the entries last year, which showed a rich variety of outdoor activities and beautiful scenes. We hope to receive even more entries this year, so tell your friends!
Any 2-dimensional media is acceptable: crayons, paint, pastels, markers, pen & ink, colored pencils, etc.
Judging will take place in the fall, after all 2008 O.K. Kids events have taken place. Wildscape reserves the right to copy or electronically reproduce artwork for promotional purposes. Drawings will be retained by Wildscape unless accompanied by a SASE and request for return.
Winners will be notified; if you do not hear from us, please check the website for a list of winners, which will be posted toward the end of October or early November.
The theme for the drawings is "favorite outdoor scene or activity."
If you are interested in submitting an entry into the contest, please send your drawing along with an entry form (download, below) to Kansas Wildscape Foundation, 2500 W. 6th St. Suite G, Lawrence, KS 66049. All entries must be postmarked no later than October 10, 2008 to be considered.
