Hunter Education Materials

Wildscape funded the cost of three shotguns for outstanding hunter education instructor awards in 1997.

This five-component project, approved in 1993, includes: 

  1. Purchase of 900 air rifles for instructing hunter education students in live firing techniques
  2. Purchase of 18,000 blaze orange hats for students and instructors as safety aids and incentives
  3. Obtaining shotguns and other items for awards for hunter ethics competitions ( shotguns so far)
  4. Obtaining merchandise for instructor incentives
  5. Obtaining firing equipment, such as bows, muzzleloaders, rimfire rifles, and shotguns, for hunter education training.
