2009 Governor's Golf & Fishing Classic

Kansas Wildscape hosted its 13th Annual Governor's Golf & Fishing Classic on June 12-13, 2009 in Junction City, Kansas.

On Friday, June 12th, the golf tournament kicked off with a hole-in-one, compliments of David Bond. It was his first swing of the day. He didn't even take a practice swing. Once again, the weather cooperated beautifully and all 13 teams had a wonderful day of golf.

On Saturday, June 13th, 35 guides showed up from all over Kansas to host soldiers on the lake for a day of fishing. The weather was cool and a little breezy, and fishing was fairly tough. However, according to the reported overall numbers, everyone caught fish! Tournament results are as follows:
